THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Specify battery management system design validation plans
Own the execution of various battery management system tests
Develop test procedures that define instrumentation, fixturing, test environment, etc.
Own the execution of various BMS tests including algorithm verification and regression tests
Analyze test data and results vs. system and sub-system requirements and validation plan objectives
Ensure data quality from executed tests
Automate processes where applicable

THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

At least a Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other relevant discipline
3+ years of experience with battery systems, with at least 1 year in test and validation
Demonstrated knowledge of battery test equipment (battery cyclers, environmental chambers), test methods, and test specifications
Experience with configuring and testing electric vehicle or stationary storage control units (with a preference for battery management system experience)
Familiarity with CANalyzer, CANape
Previous experience in a role requiring test plan development
Experience working with medium and high voltage systems
Product launch experience from early prototypes to volume production
Previous experience with stationary energy storage systems is a plus
Strong technical communication skills (written and verbal)
