As we grow, we're looking for experienced Solar PV Roofers who want to build long-term careers in one of the fastest growing sectors of the clean energy movement. The role is ideal for roofers looking to transition into or expand their expertise in solar energy. You’ll not only install solar PV systems but also have the opportunity to upskill in battery storage and EV charger installation.

Responsibilities

• Install roof-mounted solar PV systems to a high standard, integrating roofing best practices throughout
• Carry out essential roofing tasks such as tile and slate removal/replacement, flashing, waterproofing and general maintenance to ensure long-lasting installations
• Support the commissioning of battery storage and EV charging systems
• Uphold safety procedures and complete all work with attention to quality, detail and durability
• Maintain professional, courteous communication with clients to ensure a positive customer experience
• Work alongside electricians, project managers and other team members to deliver efficiency and safe installations
• Contribute to process development as the company scales and embraces new technologies

Requirements

• Proven experience in roofing with strong knowledge of materials, methods and safety practices
• Experience with solar PV installations on residential or commercial rooftops
• Willingness to upskill in battery systems and EV charger installation
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
