Octopus Energy Services is spearheading the transition to greener, cheaper energy through the installation of in-home technologies; from smart meters and EV chargers; to low carbon heating such as Solar PV, Heat Pumps and beyond. We deliver smart energy and low carbon heating solutions so our customers can enjoy clean, green and cosy homes. 

We’ve fallen head-over-heels in love with Solar Panels - which provide an ultra-efficient and reliable way to harness the power of the sun and then storing this clean energy in super-efficient batteries for when your home needs it most.  

You will learn all about them at our £10m training and R&D centre to then educate our customers on these magical systems. We are utilising Octopus Energy’s awesome tech power to make electric heating the smart, accessible and clean choice for every home in the UK.

What you'll do

  • Develop and establish your sales pipeline with customers - from lead through to delivery and accomplish sales & orders in line with our KPIs 
  • Achieve activity goals set in line with our customer journey and their expectations of great service
  • Provide excellent customer service through the sales process and record customer feedback in the CRM
  • Become an expert in Solar Design with a real ownership in the process you’re taking our customers on and be a real advocate for the technology that we are excited to launch across the UK and beyond!

  • What you'll need

  • A love of the buzz you get when exceeding targets and being rewarded with regular incentives and great commission structures
  • Default to being solution focused and having a positive outlook especially when overcoming objections
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own time and workload effectively 
  • Be an exceptional communicator, ensuring customers feel good about each and every conversation and are motivated to invest in a solar system.
  • To thrive in a dynamic and active office environment, being able to adjust to change and keep up with a fast moving business 
  •  Either previous sales experience within a consultative environment or a desire to work within sales and grow your career is a must - we are excited about the future and want you to be too!
  • Proven track record of excellent customer experience with excellent listening skills and confidence when dealing with customers over the phone in a B2C capacity. 
  • It would be beneficial for you to have experience in Solar Panels but its not essential; we have a great learning and development team ready to upskill you
  • A genuine passion for sustainability and fighting the climate crisis is a must!
