What you will be doing

This is an exciting time to join Breathe. Having proven the value of our products in both the automotive and consumer electronics spaces, we are scaling our Quality Assurance Team. This is a unique opportunity to bring software and quality together to ensure that those products have the maximum possible impact while helping keep our quality standards high.

Your day to day

• Devise and implement quality assurance strategies for product development and customer projects
• Identify quality discrepancies and inefficiencies in our processes; propose solutions that increase value- add, enhance assessment, definition and documentation of activities
• Collaborate with relevant teams in planning and executing internal and external quality assessments to ensure comprehensive coverage and compliance
• A self-starter, with attention to detail, who can take ownership of a project and work with other teams in a kind and conscious manner

Your background

• You will view software development as a craft, take pride in the software you create, and are passionate about spreading best practices. How it is done is as important as getting it done
• You employ a  methodical   approach   to   software   development   based   on   state-of-the-art practices and disciplines
• Proven experience in designing and developing high-quality software in a fast pace, growing environment
• Experience in software engineering quality standards (e.g. ASPICE, ISO26262, or similar standards in non-automotive sectors)
• Experience in Simulink modelling and code generation would be advantageous
• Have a drive for efficiency and automation and the ability to take a high-level target outcome and autonomously translate it into reality
• A self-starter, with attention to detail, who can take ownership of a project and work with other teams in a kind and conscious manner
