We are currently seeking a Shipment Expeditor. This position is responsible for transporting goods from one place to another as quickly and efficiently as possible. They are responsible for determining the fastest and most cost-effective methods for transporting goods. Primary duties include coordinating with planners and warehouse staff, tracking an order, handling delivery delays, and providing updates until expedited shipments are delivered.

You Will: Look for ways to decrease transit time on urgent freight requests.Coordinate with production planners on expedited freight request specifications and timingReview and track all orders.Ensure proper approvals and financial governance policies are followed during expedited shipments.Keep track of all milestones of freight as it goes through the expedited process.Work with the warehouse staff to ensure all shipments are delivered.Solve any issues related to shipping delays.Report out daily leadership on all expedited shipment status.Monitor budgets for the expedited shipping of a goods.Provide incredible responsiveness and attention to detail.Work within ERP and TMS systems.Collaborate with Trade Compliance, Material Planning, transportation providers and warehousing on seamless hand offs of critical shipments.Monitor and update tracking tools with shipment progress.Provide updates during part status meetings.Be open to working alternative shifts.
You Bring: Time Management – you effectively organize and plan how to divide your time between multiple shipment activities enabling you to work smarter – not harder – so that you get more done in less time, even when time is tight, and pressures are high.Attention to detail – you will be overseeing Lucid expedited orders and deliveries with the 3PL, for deliveries from all over the world. Communication skills – need to communicate with internal customers, external suppliers as well as 3PL management. Thus, they must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and may also benefit from conflict resolution skills.Organizational skills – Since they are responsible and reorganizing orders, deliveries, KPIs and internal requests, it will be important to track and respond to multiple priorities daily.Computer skills – Record accuracy and retention are critical to the job. Must be intermediate user of Microsoft Excel and Word, along with 2 or more years using Transportation Management System (TMS) with applicable understanding of the relations of various transactions.
HS Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.Expeditor experience neededShipment Track and Trace experience preferredExperience coordinating projects and the efforts of multiple departments.Strong skills in Excel, Tableau, Smartsheet a plus.
