Swytch is a close-knit team dedicated to creating low-carbon transport solutions, which are fun to use and good for the health of the planet and our customers. We’ve grown our team to 65 people over the last 18 months and we continue to grow to keep up with the unprecedented demand for our technology and to help us lead the electric transport revolution. Our office is based in an old biscuit factory in East London but we work wherever we work best.

We are now looking for an Service Technician to join our UK Service Centre. The team is responsible for the testing and repairing of our kits returned by customers as well as providing technical knowledge to our internal team.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage and coordinate technical support, returns servicing, and small item dispatching services.
- Ensure timely dispatch of small items to customers, including processing orders and managing inventory levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any customer issues related to product quality, delivery, or warranty claims.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on service and dispatch activities.
- Continuously improve customer support and dispatch processes to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Follow and develop test specifications to maintain a high standards of quality control across production and customer returns.
- Provide maintenance and support for our fleet of bikes, including diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that bikes are in top condition.
- Support the production team, including performing quality checks, assembling components, packing of outgoing stock and ensuring that production processes are efficient.
- Any other tasks requested by management or the wider team.
Requirements
- Knowledge of ebike components and systems.
- Experience in technical support, proven thorough troubleshooting and a problem-solving mindset.
- Proficient in using tools required within the production facility.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and customer service platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Some international travel may be expected when required.
Advantageous:
- Experience working as a cycle mechanic in either a servicing or manufacturing role.
- Qualifications in using counterbalance forklifts.
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery.
