Fluence is seeking a Global Product Specialist in Service to own the product vision for: Availability Services.

This person will drive the production of our service offers to maximize the lifetime value of our services for our customers. The role will be responsible for building and managing procedures for business plans and value creation as well as for cost and documentation controlling across the entire product lifecycle, from communication to stakeholders through proposals, contracting and execution of the contracted services.

Technical knowledge is required of the local energy services market and of battery-based energy storage systems is desirable, but an agile mindset with comfort of working and learning in a fast-paced technology scale-up environment is essential.

· Ownership of the strategy of the Service Products: Availability Services.

· Management of cost models of Service Products and coordination with product management team to reduce cost positions while balancing performance needs.

· Ensure all product communication remains consistent, operations are in line with Fluence’s Service templates.

· Implement improvement plans to achieve efficiency and accuracy goals.

· Work closely with Product Management, Technology and Services to develop product requirements that resonates with target customers.

· Work with teams worldwide to analyse requirements.

· Proactively specifies performance guarantees for contractors and sub-contractors to ensure quality and performance guarantees to ensure project deliverable and contract requirements are met.

· Analysis of competitor solutions and insights into what is needed to increase differentiation or close gaps.

· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

· 6+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology. Successfully delivered complex products that scaled over time.

· Experience in applying organizational standards when developing requests for proposals/quotes, negotiating terms, and drafting contracts.

· Experience projecting planning/execution skills including estimating, scheduling, and executing on tight deadlines.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· A team player with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple teams at all levels.

· Strategic thinker who will actively contribute as a member of the product management team, including setting strategy and deciding what our next best investments should be.
