You will work with a team of world-class engineers with diverse backgrounds in robotics, control, and vehicle engineering to deliver the vehicle performance. In taking on ownership of the Technical Program Manager - Stability role within Vehicle Integration, you will be an integral link in the initiative to maximize the testing value of Zoox’s test vehicles. 

Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $249,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.

Responsibilities

  • You will track issues and drive issue resolution on issues identified from VI testing activities
  • You will generate stability scores for test vehicles and dashboards showing issue summaries and status
  • You will analyze results to identify which systems have opportunities for improvement 
  • You will coordinate and represent issues in escalation meetings with senior management
  • You will develop and run regular issue escalation meetings to promote issue resolution
  • You will present metrics and issue status to senior management on a regular basis
  • You will coordinate and support documenting issues for test vehicle assets
  • You will align on the stability test plan
  • Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in engineering, and/or program management
  • An ability to keep the big picture in focus and to provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each appropriate audience
  • Proficient in tools or processes required to manage complex projects (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills are a must, ability to create visualizations of KPIs and program risks
  • Bonus Qualifications

  • Track record in managing complex cross-functional projects or facilities
  • Experience with developing and scaling strategy, processes, plans, procedures, reporting, and handling escalations
