We are seeking a Senior Tableau Developer. This position requires an experienced professional to contribute to the development of our self-service Big Data Platform. The Role

  • Design and Develop Advance Tableau reports with the right UX and KPIs
  • Design, develop and automate self-service, scalable analytical solutions with Tableau
  • ETL Development using SQL, Python, Airflow, or Similar tools
  • Working with development teams to ensure that new features or integrations are compatible with existing infrastructure
  • Performing regular maintenance on workstations to ensure optimal performance
  • Establish and maintain the analytics practice, which includes defining Tableau governance processes, policies, and guidelines
  • Define roles and responsibilities for managing the organization’s data in compliance with business and/or regulatory requirements
  • Data normalization/de-normalization, data analysis, and creating dashboards with optimum performance in a big data environment using Presto and Redshift
  • Data modeling and management, creating DDL, creating UDFs with Python and SQL  
  • Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions. 
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc., to drive key business decisions. 
  • Deliver near-real-time and non-near-real-time data and applications to a team of analysts and data scientists who create insights and analytics applications for our stakeholders. 
  • Participate in data strategy and road map exercises, business intelligence/data warehouse product selection, design, and implementation
  • Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience with enterprise reporting tools, Specifically Tableau 
  • Experience in ETL, data modeling, and business intelligence big data architectures. 
  • Knowledge of Tableau APIs in support of developing administration-related tools and operations
  • In-depth experience with the design & development of Workbook Dashboards and Data Sources through Tableau Desktop
  • Hands-on Experience with Tableau Architecture for Tableau
  • Proficient knowledge of Tableau Server platform and server-side functionalities
  • Experience in Tableau Administration, including Install and upgrading in a distributed enterprise environment
  • Proficient in SQL and Python scripting
  • Experience with Scheduling and orchestration tools such as Airflow 
  • Familiarity with AWS solutions such as S3 and Redshift 
  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics
