Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.&nbsp;</p></div><p><strong>About the team:</strong></p> <div class="section page-centered"> <div>Systems Test Engineering team tests and validates the vehicle system level features as well as end to end user interface.&nbsp;</div> <div>We set the high quality standards that ensure our vehicles meet the targeted functionality, safety and performance .</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>We're looking for talented teammates who’ll help us maintain strong teamwork and are able to deliver results.</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div>&nbsp;</div> <div> <div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">This is what you will do:</strong></div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-indent="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Create, maintain test strategy and test plans for vehicle access functions for multiple programs/projects for different vehicles in the Rivian portfolio</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Build, maintain and manage test environments needed for manual and automated runs.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Help drive decisions about test automation strategies, collaborate across dev &amp; test organizations.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Create/enhance and maintain manual and automated test cases.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Collaborate with other leads in the system test team and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test execution for various internal and external milestones.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Analyze defects, assist with resolving issues reported from drive tests and customers.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Mentor new hires</li> </ul> <div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">This is what you’ll need:</strong></div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-indent="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">5+ years of relevant industry experience, with 3+ years of experience testing access systems, user profile functions for embedded software platforms.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Expertise in Python, test automation tools.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Experience in embedded systems: Linux, Android, or QNX.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Experience with Agile software development methodologies.</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0">Experience in automotive system testing, data analysis with tools such as Canoe, PCAN viewer, BLE sniffer, Automotive Ethernet is a big plus.</li> </ul> </div> </div><div class="content-conclusion"><h4>Equal Opportunity</h4> <p>Rivian is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
