Role Description
The Senior Systems Test and Integration Engineer role at Form reports to the Director, Validation & Development Operations, and will help establish and develop our growing validation test team.

Working with a large cross-functional and distributed group, you will enable the validation needs of our full-scale module systems testing and integration – testing embedded software, developing test automation, assisting system design, as well as resolving product issues and data management defects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a process leader with well-developed communication and collaboration skills to influence, oversee and improve our integration of battery hardware products and custom testing systems, directly impacting climate change.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development of the integration between our battery product and the custom developed battery cycler
  • Write and maintain a variety of electrical and electrochemical test scripts across multiple battery cycling and other balance of plant hardware 
  • Serve as a liaison to the Data Engineering team to find opportunities to enable seamless data analysis and data entry 
  • Manage and execute testing of hardware and software products. This includes maintaining test plans and test cases based on product requirements. 
  • Develop test automation for key performance test cases and perform/collect test data.
  • Design test setup and perform product testing according to test schedule to deliver product on time.
  • Document test issues, support debug efforts, and work with Hardware/Software Engineers to resolve issues.
  • What You'll Bring:

  • Passion for our mission, sustainability, and climate change
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of test engineering industry-related experience
  • Experience with writing test scripts and using execution tools e.g., LabView
  • Proficient with software/scripting languages e.g., Python, MATLAB, and SQL
  • Exposure/experience with general lab safety
  • Cloud-based technologies and tools experience 
  • A pragmatic, creative and proactive approach to problem-solving, adaptability, and ability to work independently
  • Leadership and influencing skills with excellent communication and collaboration skills
