Join the Aircraft Simulation team based in Bristol as a Senior Simulation Project Manager and help us to achieve our mission of pioneering electric aviation.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Simulation Project Manager you will be responsible for the management and execution of Simulation Test Requests, Model development requests and Pilot in the loop simulator availability. This is a hybrid role which combines Modelling & Simulation activities with Project Management responsibilities.

You will be working closely with a variety of engineering teams, both in-house and external suppliers and you will be taking a leading role in coordinating simulation interfaces across the stakeholder community and help to drive simulation requirements.

You will report directly into the Aircraft Simulation IPT Lead and be a key member of the simulation team, supporting the continued development of our in-house expertise, specialist knowledge and capabilities.

What would we like you to bring.

We want you to be successful in your role, in order to achieve this you will need to have prior experience in modelling/simulation of aircraft subsystems and their integration in any of the following areas: electrical powertrain systems, flight control and avionic system models, rotorcraft/VTOL and fixed wing aeromechanics and flight dynamics or actuation and mechanical systems.

Additionally, you will have experience in managing multi-disciplinary optimization projects and in leading multiple technical projects. Ideally you will hold a formal qualification in project management and you will have some knowledge of MATLAB SIMULINK software, programming languages eg C/C++ or simulation/synthetic software. You will have gained this experience from the aerospace sector.
