ROLE:

The Shopper Activation Manager role is a key role for all retail customers as we launch.. This role is a very important resource for the sales functions as we look to scale Meati’s promotional and instore presence during our launch year and beyond.  This role will take lead on retail shopper acquisition strategy and on planning, coordinating, and executing all in store and customer specific promotions.  This role will help liaison between the marketing brand team and the sales team to help bring Meati to life in store, ultimately driving trial, awareness, and velocity.  This Role will take lead on working with customer marketing teams, shopper marketing vendors, and leveraging our internal marketing teams digital/owned/earned capabilities. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage shopper/customer marketing budget and overall strategy that results in maximum velocity

and in store presence

  • Create specific channel strategy for both retail and foodservice sales divisions.
  • Work with internal creative to optimize presence in store and create customer specific POS needed for field marketing team.
  • Work closely with
  • Act as key point of contact with retailer shopper marketing teams and create incremental value through relationships
  • Act as key POC for all shopper marketing vendors (Ibotta, Catalina, 84.51, Fetch, Instacart, Ship’t, News America, etc)
  • Work with Business Development, Sales, and Brand team to craft compelling slides to pitch and recap shopper activity.
  • Lead execution/recapping on major shopper marketing initiatives
  • Track all Shopper spending and ROI in real time dashboard.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with CPG and working with Grocery retailers, shopper marketing vendors (i.e Ibotta, Instacart, News America, Catalina, MPerks, 84.51, etc)
  • Ability to leverage strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations at varying levels of the organization; including but not limited to leadership.
  • Strong reasoning, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to motivate teams, manage conflict and drive engagement
  • Ability to effectively manage projects and execute on deliverables
  • Ability to understand policies and procedures and relate them to others
  • Proficient knowledge in word processing, spreadsheets, computer systems (examples include Excel, Word, O365)
  • Willing to travel 20-30% to manage and execute commercial/consumer activation

COMPENSATION: $120k Base + Target Incentive Bonus + Equity
