We are currently hiring for a role in the Programmes team. As we move forward with our product development, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to drive the delivery of a number of the workstreams. You will need be prepared to take on a wide range of challenges and responsibilities across multiple streams of work in a fast-moving environment, with the opportunity to be involved in multiple aspects of the aircraft.
Duties will be wide ranging and varied and will include:
- Support the co-ordination, management and motivation of a cross-functional, multi-disciplined team working across a number of aircraft work-packages
- Track, maintain and support improvement of Project progress, timing and quality through the monitoring and control of activities, partnering with the Technical Leads and Heads of Department
- Manage the assigned work packages / supporting account budget, and control processes, escalating as necessary
- Scheduling and agreeing resource requirements
- Support the management of change requests into leadership team
- Pro-active risk management
- Application of Earned Value Management and the reporting of accurate and timely EVM data
- Prepare deliverables and reports, attend and participate in internal and external Programme reviews, and meetings as required
- Supplier and partner interfacing

Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience in Project Management with a proven track record at leading and delivering complex, high-profile engineering projects
- Demonstrated and applied experience in project management of sub-systems design, development, integration, testing and certification programmes
- Ideally you will have a background and degree in engineering (mechanical / electrical / electronic)
- Sub-Contractor / Supplier development and management experience
- Risk Management experience
- Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and techniques
- Skilled and experienced in stakeholder management
- Track record of guiding and enabling technical teams to solve complex problems in a fast paced development environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
