About This Role:
Join our team as a Senior Project Manager and take ownership of planning, organizing, and executing Modular Data Center Building projects with precision and efficiency. You will be the conduit for converting complex customer requirements to actionable, attainable scope while collaborating with in-house engineering and manufacturing experts.
You'll be the champion of managing customer expectations, coordinating manufacturing activities on innovative designs that need to adhere to strict specifications, code and safety standards. Your ability to communicate effectively and lead cross-functional teams will be crucial in driving projects to successful completion.
Your work directly impacts our ability to deploy modular data center buildings to compute from sustainable, renewable and/or stranded energy sources.

What You’ll Be Working On:
Cutting edge “Spark” Modular Data Center project: Collaborate with technical customer representatives, engineering and manufacturing teams to work through a state of the art modular data center design.
Project Planning and Execution: Define clear project goals, develop strategic plans, financial budgets and manage timelines to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery from concept engineering through delivery of finished products to site.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with estimating, engineering, procurement, production, and accounting teams to align project deliverables and proactively mitigate risk.
Budget reporting and forecasting: Take complex projects and break them down into digestible financial budgets and reports, collaborating with manufacturing production, estimating and engineering teams.
Strategic Change & Risk Management: Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate potential scope creep, project risks, and design changes on innovative projects. You will develop and execute sophisticated change control strategies that ensure stakeholder alignment, budget stability, and schedule adherence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring clear understanding of tasks and efficient execution.
Resource Management: Identify and allocate necessary internal and external resources to ensure project success.
Process Improvement: Make a positive impact in a new facility and influence manufacturing processes for continuous improvement.
Quality and Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with design specifications, operational standards, and safety regulations (ISO 9001:2015).
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Construction, Electrical Project Management or Modular Building Manufacturing experience: Experience in construction or similar industry with exposure to multi-disciplinary products, (electrical, HVAC, structural, enclosure/building envelope). Modular Building Manufacturing and/or Data Center Construction experience is preferred.
Building and Electrical code knowledge: Competent in building and electrical code knowledge for collaboration with the in-house engineering department, manufacturing technicians, and authority having jurisdictions for permit processing.
Project Management Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience managing projects within the electrical equipment, construction, engineering and/or manufacturing industry.
Bachelor’s of Science: BS in business, engineering or construction management.
Complex Change Leadership & Process Ownership: Proven ability to not only lock scope and manage change orders but also to lead the adoption of dynamic change management practices across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement). Must demonstrate expertise in managing change on first-of-a-kind (FOAK) or highly complex projects, maintaining positive client relationships throughout periods of significant project evolution.
Schedule development and management: Proficient in scheduling using waterfall and agile methodologies. Proficient with programs such as MS Project, Monday.com or Primavera P6.
Cost management: Ability to forecast and create a cost budget, and then manage said budget through completion of the project(s).
Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and influence peers, ensuring collaborative project execution.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office for effective project documentation and communication. Experience with manufacturing ERP systems like SAP, visual, experience with Acumatica is preferred.
Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.

Compensation:
Compensation will be in the range of $141,750 - $162,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
