Electromagnetic design and testing of permanent magnet direct drive motors for EVTOL, power system modeling and design, including protection coordination schemes and control strategies for redundant motors. Validation of stators and rotors on dynamometers, validation of electrical performance, thermals, controls and interactions with subsystems.
