We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the R&D Engineering team, a group responsible for meeting the mechanical design and development needs of the entire R&D organization.
Members of the R&D Engineering team scope, design, fabricate, prototype, instrument, and evaluate hardware with teams developing Form Energy’s fundamental technology.
If you enjoy collaborating with others to design and build creative solutions to a variety of complex problems, this role is for you! This is an excellent opportunity to solve a wide array of technical issues with a large cross-section of the Form Energy team.

What You’ll Do:
Design, build and qualify new prototypes, and test stands across technical effortsDevelop functional requirements in close collaboration with members of Form’s product and technology development teams Run an iterative design process, confirming that mechanical and electrochemical requirements are achievedPerform hands-on prototyping of your designsWork with manufacturing engineers and technical operations to transition designs from the prototype stage to high volume internal productionCollaborate with testing teams to define and execute validation test plansSupport the analysis of test data to enable data-based decision makingWork with R&D Engineering team members on varying projects based on your skills/interests and Form’s top prioritiesWhat You’ll Bring:
