Role Description
Form Energy is looking for a motivated Site Operations Sr. Manager to join the team in our Eighty Four, PA location. Our Site Operations team is responsible for the full scope of management of Facilities Engineering and Operations, Workplace Services, Lab Operations, indirectly EHS functions, space management, stakeholder relationships and multiple projects from programming to turnover.  Form Energy is entering a critical growth phase; teams are rapidly growing and there’s a need to accelerate technology development, which results in greater strategic and tactical functional support needed from Site Operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Direct program management of the development of new spaces and changes to current spaces, working cross functionally with leaders of technical and operational teams to develop seamless program needs, timelines and budgets
  • Deliver program initiatives to upper leadership with ROM budgets, agreed timelines and any risk mitigation efforts needed to execute as well as forecasting 1-2 years out
  • Select and implement project tracking tools and business insight (BI)  tools that track and display progress
  • Leverage financial, project and business insight tools to inform and contribute to strategic and tactical decisions
  • Tracking weekly new hires and terminations and adjusting space plans accordingly
  • Lead capital construction projects from programming to start of operations leveraging outside resources as needed, managing general contractors, A & E firms and holding them accountable to Form Energy budgets, timing goals and design standards
  • Collaborate with the site stakeholders to gather future space needs and evaluate current space usage to inform the executive team
  • Consolidate site space needs and collaborate with end users, design, construction and other vendors and team resources to execute space requests
  • Responsible for all moves, facilities commissioning and decommissioning at the site
  • Manage a team of direct reports with expertise in areas of EHS, facilities operations and engineering, warehousing, workplace and lab management
  • Develop appropriate KPI’s and goals for each area of responsibility, defining how those KPI’s will be delivered, how they impact the company goals, and holding teams accountable for success in all areas
  • Partner with other team leaders in IT, People Ops, Finance and Technical teams to create and deliver a great workplace
  • Continuously evaluate the workspace Form Energy provides to their employees and generate ideas on how to improve the spaces, services, processes, and programs to consistently align with company priorities and employee needs
  • Primary point of contact for all Landlord and Lease negotiations, incident escalation, City officials and overall site stewardship
  • What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a project and/or program management role
  • 5-10 years of professional experience including management of Site Operations teams as well as contractors and outside vendors
  • Proficient with Google Suite, Slack and Bluebeam Revu 
  • Track record of success and increasing responsibility: developing and managing operational and construction schedules and budgets, planning and leading the execution of small to medium scale lab or manufacturing construction projects, and working in a rapidly growing and fast paced R&D and manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to navigate all levels of the organization to understand current and upcoming needs, cross-prioritize initiatives and communicate expectations
  • Customer oriented and execution mindset with a focus on finding creative solutions to problems in order to enable the business, breaking down any barriers
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills delivering communication with precision and professionalism
  • Experience creating a workplace services organization or capability and delivering a great place to work for our employees
  • Ability to manage through fast moving, start up challenges with ease and comfort
  • Extremely good at maintaining situational awareness and delivering both tactical and strategic solutions where applicable
