As the Order to Cash Program Manager, reporting to the Finance Department, you will be responsible for administering and supporting Rivian’s Order to Cash financial systems project management. You will be responsible for coordinating with key business partners regarding their business requirements, and other functional documentation. As you work across multiple projects at once, you will document and resolve key issues while driving decision making. Once a project is completed, you're able to clearly communicate the results and draw the key learnings for senior management. Be a business trusted advisor for Credit, Billing, Revenue Accounting, Collections, Tax and treasury teams

Use your strong financial background, to manage projects from concept to implementation across many stakeholders. You will understand execution risk and how to mitigate it. You will understand stakeholder management and will manage relationships across large and complex organizations.

 

THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management.
  • Become the subject matter expert for systems and business processes in key areas: Credit, Billing, Revenue Accounting, Collections, Sales Order Data, Product Data, Customer Data, Inventory Data, and month end reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance to key regulatory, security, and organizational policies and procedures including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Provide functional support to end users of systems in the order-to-cash process area, and escalate issues to management as necessary
  • Structure projects with stakeholders, define project goals and risks to execution, drive projects through the entire project lifecycle, including clearly communicating status, risks, and remediation plans to executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with order management, payments, and operations teams and serve as a point of contact to provide technical expertise, formulate and drive requirements, inputs and validations for design selections, problem solving and testing for integration areas
  • Define and monitor key metrics in order to measure business impact of process improvements.
  • Actively engage in the business transformation efforts by understanding the business vision and translating that to a supportable and efficient systems roadmap/implementation plans.
  • Partner and work closely with solution integrators, corporate IT, and business process owners to plan, implement, and test SAP implementations and future system/process enhancements.  
  • Lead the project execution and status reporting using various project management methodologies (PMI/waterfall, Agile, ASAP)
  • Manage capital spending requests and project budgets
  • Project Management skills are a must (PMP)/Agile using JIRA, Confluence, and Service Now.

 

THIS WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance, or related field
  • 10+ years detailed understanding of Finance business processes including Order-to-Cash (O2C).
    • 5+ years’ experience in manager roles overseeing the design, implementation, and support of ERP systems, with specific experience in S/4HANA and High Radius
  • 10+ years of experience in operations, consulting, program management, process design, process improvement, or business process reengineering
  • Proficient with Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI a plus
  • Understanding of finance systems and how they support business processes, including revenue accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate user design workshops and assist in facilitating the adoption of the new/changed business processes
  • Adept in developing and maintaining relationships with global stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects at a time
  • Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Strong communication, influential, analytical, and problem-solving skill
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing industry is a plus
