Your role and your team:
We're building a world-class, scalable Finance function ready for future growth in electric aviation. The Senior IFRS Accountant will play a critical role in growing the Group Accounting function in Lilium ready for market entry. This is a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact in a Financial Reporting role. Our challenge is to manage the demands of a fast paced and highly disruptive electric aviation start-up, whilst adhering to the rigorous requirements of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and PCAOB audit standards.
Your Day to day:
- Prepare and review IFRS adjustment schedules for posting to our consolidation software, Lucanet.
- Prepare schedules, notes and disclosures for our published Group financial statements under IFRS.
- Work closely with local Financial Accountants to enhance process efficiency and ensure high data quality.
- Grow the Group Accounting team by onboarding new colleagues and helping with team decision making.
Your profile:
- You will ideally have a recognised international or German accounting qualification and / or proven practical experience that includes a strong understanding of IFRS accounting.
- A track record of delivering to stringent audit and financial reporting deadlines.
- You pride yourself on delivering high quality work, on time.
- Resilient and comfortable working in a growing, fast paced environment and able to adapt your priorities flexibly as we learn and grow.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- You are fluent in Business English (German language skills will be useful).
