About the Role
As a highly motivated and experienced Sr Global Supply Manager, you will leverage your strong background in the sourcing & procurement of composites, thermoforming and/or controls high voltage, low voltage and electrical systems for vehicle power and propulsion to establish and secure Lightship’s supply base. Your experience in the electrified automotive, industrial or RV industries and extensive knowledge of the global supply chain will greatly impact our success bringing the L1 to market and beyond.
You will be responsible for facilitating cross-functional sourcing efforts to identify potential sources, facilitating the cross-functional supplier selection process, negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing the procurement of goods and services, and ensuring timely delivery of high quality materials/products that meet Design and Engineering requirements. You will also be responsible for working closely with Lightship’s product development and design teams to ensure the successful development of our vehicles to meet our quality, design and cost standards.
Onsite/Hybrid Work
Hybrid roles at Lightship require onsite work from our offices Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Tuesdays and Fridays are optional work from home days, when your work will be executed more successfully from home. Speak to the hiring manager to learn more.

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience6+ years of experience in purchasing and supply chain managementExperience sourcing composites, thermoforming, plastics for interiors and/or controls, high voltage, low voltage and electrical systems for vehicle power and propulsionProven experience negotiating contracts with suppliers and managing supplier relationshipsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong project management skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications

Lightship compensation consists of the yearly salary above plus equity, which gives you a stake in the company.
