Zoox is seeking a strategic Senior Events Manager to lead our external events program and shape how we engage with key audiences. This role serves as a critical bridge between our strategic objectives and their execution through creative, effective events that elevate the Zoox brand. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can balance creative vision with operational excellence.
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $166,000 to $184,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.

In this role, you will...
Drive the vision and strategy for Zoox's external events program, ensuring alignment with overall business and brand objectivesTransform business goals into innovative event concepts that enhance brand perception and drive measurable outcomesLead a comprehensive events portfolio spanning large-scale productions, targeted industry activations and smaller engagement opportunitiesDevelop and oversee the program budget, with accountability for ROI across all event investmentsBuild and maintain the events roadmap, balancing long-term strategic initiatives with emerging opportunitiesCreate and implement governance processes for event requests, evaluations, and approvalsLead the continuous improvement of event processes based on data-driven insights and industry best practicesEstablish comprehensive metrics framework to evaluate event effectiveness across brand impact, audience engagement, and business outcomesPartner with internal stakeholders to align event strategy with business priorities and secure buy-in for major initiativesCollaborate with Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Brand teams to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all touch pointsManage external agency relationships, balancing creative and execution capabilitiesMentor and develop the events team, building capabilities that enhance our overall execution excellenceQualifications
8+ years of progressive experience in strategic events management, preferably in innovative technologyDemonstrated experience developing and implementing event strategies that connect events strategy to broader business objectivesStrong track record of managing complex, high-visibility events with multiple stakeholdersExperience building and optimizing event management processes and systemsExceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence across organizational levelsOutstanding budget management capabilities with focus on maximizing impact of investmentsProficiency with event management platforms and data analysis toolsMaintains exceptional attention to detail while managing the broader strategic pictureThrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and emerging opportunitiesKnowledge of virtual and hybrid event approaches—experience with Splash preferred
