Your role and your team:

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Senior Electronic products Procurement manager to join a leading European eVTOL Company.

You will be accountable for strategic and tactical procurement activities for Electronic market. You will work in a multi functional environment embedding aircraft design, manufacturing engineers, category managers procurement, program managers, airline experts and supply chain teams.

Your Day to Day:

  • Lead, develop, implement and maintain a robust Electronic products sourcing strategy fitting with the overall Procurement and Company strategy
  • Orchestrating a global network of aircraft suppliers to initiate best practice exchange and a continuous flow of innovations outside-in
  • Takes ownership of procurement operations by negotiating, managing, and maintaining electronic products contracts with sense of urgency and financial optimisation while securing Program schedule
  • Lead Multi-functional team (Production, Finances, Quality, Engineering, Program) which will shape and lead the supply chain for Electronic market
  • Proven leadership skills, able to work collaboratively cross-functions, including management and suppliers in highly international environment. High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
  • Contribute to on time, on cost and on quality performances, by close monitoring and improvement initiatives, up to recovery plans if necessary.
  • Identify skillset and develop strategy to build capability and recruit talents

Your Profile:

  • Procurement commodity leadership in a corporate with minimum experience in aerospace, including end to end responsibility of implementing Electronics products strategy
  • Extensive experience and strong understanding of Electronics market supply chain (eg EMS, manufacturer, brokers, designers)
  • Strategic thinker with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement and strong operational focus
  • Must be proactive, open, and direct communicator who engages comfortably and credibly with all levels of organization with high sense of urgency with a real time networking across the globe
  • High personal influencing and negotiation skills. Strong leadership maturity and ability to lead through others
  • Eager to learn and adopt his style to a start up environment; robust and passionate to follow given objectives; uses failure as learning experience; excellent communicator
  • Able and comfortable working in a developing, fluid and constantly changing company environment, as well as handling multiple priorities whilst constantly meeting deadlines
  • Proactively seek for solutions and continuous improvement
