You will

  • Develop an innovative and scalable strategy and roadmap to optimize the people operations function globally.
  • Lead a team of global HR Operations professionals and enable them for success, while increasing the team’s capability in the areas of Employee relations, Global compliance, Immigration and mobility, Data Analytics, Benefits operations, and other core operations functions.
  • Lead and own complex global projects and project management, change management initiatives, deliverables, and escalations.
  • Assess current state of our HRIS effectiveness, global processes, and tools
  • In partnership with stakeholders, lead new entity creation and employee integration from PEO to ChargePoint entities or subsidiaries globally.
  • Represent People function in various audits.
  • Ensure system and people processes are well documented, regularly updated, and end user trained.
  • Function as an internal consultant for People Business Partners, Talent and Compensation teams, and business leaders.
  • Stay current with innovative HR practices and informed on best-in class practices to improve operations effectiveness, as well as local and regional compliance requirements to ensure alignment of operational service delivery and processes.
  • Create a high-performance culture including a consistent approach to service level agreements, key performance indicators, and performance reporting.
  • Manage the Employee Relations function including handling ER & Compliance issues personally, when required
  • Oversee our people data management. Ensure accurate and timely updates to all people-related data and provide regular analytics and insights.
  • Maintain overall content ownership for our HR intranet site, “People on Charley”, as well as our HR ticketing system, Jira.
  • Prepare for HRIS transformation with the implementation of a new HR system (e.g. Workday).
  • Manage the HRIS, Analytics and reporting function; Strong, data and metrics background

Your Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in People operations or relevant HR roles.
  • At least 5+ years leading Global People Operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives in global, fast growing, newly public company environments.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in HR operations.
  • Successful HRIS (esp. Workday) implementation experience with proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders and management team members
  • MA in related field or MBA preferred but not required; SPHR/SHRM certification a plus

    • Detail-oriented problem solver
    • Impeccable judgment and discretion at all times, especially when handling sensitive and confidential information
    • Ability to anticipate market trends and take proactive steps to mitigate risk and/or maximize opportunities
    • Passion for continuous improvement and for driving effectiveness and efficiency
    • Ability to direct the work of the team with clarity, delegating as appropriate
    • Strength in knowing when and how to navigate both the strategic and tactical aspects of the position, rolling up your sleeves as required

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $182,000 to $278,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
