We are currently seeking a Senior Connectivity Validation Engineer in our Software Quality and Validation Engineering team. This requires an experienced professional with a background in software quality assurance and system validation. The ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute laboratory and in-vehicle testing of Telematics and Connected Infotainment systems and components
  • Create and update test specifications and plans for laboratory and in-vehicle testing
  • Act as the main point of contact to gather and share relevant information regarding new features and changes projected for the features under their responsibility
  • Use logging equipment to document errors found during testing sessions
  • Derive reproducibility of system malfunction
  • Pre-analyze system behavior and data logs, perform root-cause analysis
  • Execute error and bug fix verification, regression tests
  • Update and maintain test setups (test benches, in-vehicle systems, test equipment, etc.)
  • Prepare vehicles for test drives
  • Qualifications:

  • Experience testing wireless technologies 5G (NR), 4G (LTE), focused on SIM registration
  • Experience with test and validation of Remote Services, Mobile App
  • 6+ years of automotive embedded testing experience
  • Good knowledge on microcontroller architecture, memory layouts, device drivers, compiler and debugger.
  • Hands on Experience in CAN and Ethernet protocols
  • Hands-on experience in Automotive testing tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, CANstress, WireShark
  • Preferred:

  • Good knowledge on Linux/Unix
  • Knowledge in python and/or any scripting language
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science (Electrical/Electronic, Telecommunications, Automotive, Information Technologies) or equivalent
