Role Summary: 

We are looking for our first Total Rewards hire in Europe. As the Senior Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will operate as a Total Rewards professional with responsibilities in both Compensation and Benefits. This role will report to the Sr Director, Global Broad Based and Executive Compensation.  

As our first Compensation professional in Europe, you will be responsible for evaluating our current compensation structure and pay practices and developing recommendations to ensure that we deliver market competitive compensation. You will also serve as a Regional Compensation Business Partner which means you will bring a consultative mindset to work with a diverse set of functions to support their unique needs.  You will advise on complex compensation matters across the entire employee lifecycle with in-depth analytics to ensure we are providing competitive and equitable compensation, consistent with our compensation philosophy.     

As our benefits professional in Europe, you will bring forth your expertise in local markets to drive towards the design, review, and execution of new & existing programs. You will be an important part of ensuring the there’s a continuous feedback loop with the EMEA employees and continuously work towards establishing operational efficiencies.  

 

Compensation Responsibilities: 

  • Build a consultative and collaborative relationship with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to provide comprehensive support and counsel on all compensation related activities, such as strategic new hire offers, promotions, international transfers, budget allocation, top talent, and retention. 
  • Provide regular updates on market insights, industry trends, and best practices, and proactively research and analyze data (market, turnover, offer acceptance rates, etc.) to determine the competitive position of roles within client groups and present findings and thoughtful recommendations to ensure both internal equity and external competitiveness are maintained. 
  • Drive consistency in compensation planning, program administration, program automation, and analytics/reporting for supported areas of the business. 
  • Develop and enhance the compensation communication toolkit and conduct HRBP, TA, and Manager training on compensation philosophy, tools and processes. 

 
Benefits Responsibilities: 

  • Administer fully end to end EMEA benefit programs inclusive of benchmarking, vendor sourcing, program design, systems integration, data entry management, renewal plannings, and more. 
  • Manage reporting and create data analysis to identify new opportunities. Leverage a mix of different inputs to put forth short-term and long-term strategies. 
  • Host feedback sessions with regional employees, developing trainings, and being a trusted partner. 
  • Collaborate with functional partners including People Operations, Talent Acquistion, Payroll, Legal, Systems, People Partners, Risk, etc. 
  • Responsible for execution of absence management strategy development, policy creation, and program execution. 
  • Be up to date with regulatory requirements as well as understand how to create and message a competitive offering.  
  • Oversee management of regional broker and consultant relationships. 
  • Create strong programs to enhance the wellbeing of the employees and their families. 
  • Administer leave of absence, facilitate the return-to-work process, and oversee accommodation requests. 
  • Develop, generate and present reports on a regular basis to analyze disability, leave and accommodation trends. 

 

Requirements: 

  • 10 years of EMEA Comp & Benefits, HR, Project Management experience ideally in a high-growth, scaling, technology environment. 
  • Have deep EMEA benefits knowledge and agility to be able to jump into various strategic projects and manage shifting priorities. 
  • Experience with global/multi-national organizations and understanding of how to foster a great working relationship with local/regional/international and cross-functional partners. 
  • Proactive problem solver, driven to tackle new and interesting issues and build innovative solutions that push the status quo 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences, including senior executive leadership 
  • Strong project management skills and can effectively balance competing priorities and drive key projects from concept to implementation. 
  • Able to independently keep many workstreams progressing. 
  • Possesses a strong commitment to excellent customer service. 
  • Able to communicate across diverse groups with a clear and approachable style.
