Role Description
You will scope and establish a coatings project within the Cathode Team, dedicated to finding the right materials and coating processes to improve the performance and cost of our electrodes. This role is primarily hands-on and lab focused. You will be responsible for identifying promising catalyst candidates and formulating appropriate inks + binders. You will specify, purchase and set up equipment for your project and establish a baseline performance for your coating process. You will then use statistical DOE to optimize the performance of the coating. The ideal candidate will have experience with water electrolysis, mixed metal oxide catalysts, or dimensionally stable anodes.
