Your impact as the Senior Certification Manager

You will be responsible for all aspects of Certification activities for the bespoke VX4 development programme and will work with multiple aviation authorities globally.

What success will look like for the Senior Certification Manager

  • Lead the aircraft certification and validation process from initial planning through final Certification.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements set by aviation authorities (e.g., CAA, EASA and FAA).
  • Lead a team of highly skilled technical specialists providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies for effective communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to gather necessary data/documentation required for certification submissions.
  • Monitor project timelines, identify potential risks or delays, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to aircraft certification.
  • Monitor policy changes from national and international aviation regulation bodies and interpret their impact on current/future programmes.

Everything sounds very interesting but how do I know this is the role for me?

We seek an ambitious individual with a proven track record in the aerospace industry as an exceptionally organised self-starter who has managed aircraft certification and validation activities from concept through Certification. You will have the necessary technical background to oversee all technical panel activities during the aircraft development programme.

  • Demonstrated experience in a development programme(s) interacting with CAA/FAA/EASA/other major civil aviation authorities is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Part 21 regulations and CS23, 27 and 29, etc.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
