Position Title: Senior Category Manager, Electronics

Reports To: VP Procurement

Location: Westlake Village, CA, Vienna, VA or REMOTE (North America, Switzerland, Germany, or the UK)

As a Senior Category Manager, you will manage the global sourcing and procurement process from initial supplier outreach and selection through to final qualification, focusing on electronics products. You will lead the broader cross-functional team and be responsible for the definition and implementation of our global sourcing strategy for all electronics related commodities. Total cost of ownership is a key consideration in the establishment of these sourcing strategies. You will support the project procurement teams regionally in their execution of individual energy storage solution deployments. Leveraging your engineering background, you will also collaborate regularly with your technical colleagues at Energy Vault to understand our energy storage systems and requirements. You will also utilize your knowledge of industry trends for commodities and more specialized parts and machinery to optimize the overall costs of our storage solutions.
