The Senior Business Development Associate will be a key member of the Rockies BD team, reporting to the Rockies Business Development Manager. The goal of this role is to prospect for new Digital Flare Mitigation clients and facilitate the greater Business Development team’s efforts to grow Crusoe’s footprint in the Rocky Mountain region (MT, ND, WY, CO, UT). The Sr. BD Associate will play a significant external facing role and have responsibilities ranging from top-of-the-funnel lead generation and prospecting, deal qualification and evaluation, and managing the sales process. Relevant experience would provide a background understanding of upstream and midstream oilfield dynamics with a strong sales and client acquisition record. Existing relationships within the industry is required.

Leverage upstream oil and gas network to identify and qualify potential new client leads for Crusoe’s Digital Flare Mitigation in the RockiesEngage in lead generation and prospecting for new clients outside of network to fill the sales pipeline with operators in the Rocky Mountain region basins of operationUsing in-depth industry knowledge, identify the unique gas capture needs of operators in each regional basin and work with technical teams to provide detailed project proposals highlighting the technical capabilities of Digital Flare Mitigation for each scenarioEstablish regular cadence of operator follow ups and outreach to ensure consistent touch points with potential leadsMaintain accurate opportunity tracking using company CRMAttend regional oil and gas events on behalf of Crusoe to establish a presence in each basin, solidifying brand recognition and creating goodwill in each communitySupport preparation and delivery of marketing materials to educate potential clients on commercial applicationsCoordinate with greater BD team to conduct ongoing O&G industry research specific to Rockies region, keeping up to date with industry trends and news Write and customize email templates and call scripts to utilize in cold-introduction scenarios Assist in negotiating terms and agreements for Digital Flare Mitigation projects with help from internal/external counselRequirements
