What You Will Be Doing

You are leading the team responsible for managing the entire lifecycle for all ChargePoint bids in Europe, from qualification and planning to submission and handover, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

Success for this team is measured by the bid win rate. To maximise this, you’ll be driving improvement to the overall bid process, running continuous improvement initiatives with KPIs and ensure efficient use of resources.

As part of your role, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate the bid qualification process, including assessing the commercial bid strategy and bid/no-bid analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial, Solution Engineering, Product, Legal and Operations  teams to assess and describe the ChargePoint solution fit, developing and writing persuasive bid content, including executive summaries, value propositions, agreeing pricing models with the commercial team and writing/coordinating technical responses.
  • Establish bid timelines. Coordinate and facilitate bid review meetings, ensuring key stakeholders provide input and address concerns or issues.
  • Establish, monitor and track bid performance metrics. Conduct post-bid analysis and debrief sessions to identify areas for improvement, and design and execute corrective action plans.
  • Continuously refine and improve bid processes, templates and best practices, including automation to maximise team efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market insights and emerging best practices in bid management.

 

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

  • 5-8 years experience managing complex bids, proposals, or tenders within SaaS, Tech, or consulting industries. Experience in the Electric Mobility sector a plus.
  • APMP Practitioner preferable
  • Strong understanding of international procurement processes and cultural nuances across different European markets.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills with the ability to mobilise commercial stakeholders and lead cross-functional collaboration under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated capability to oversee and support a small bid function, ensuring clear priorities, high delivery standards, and ongoing team development.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to balance commercial goals with operational excellence.
  • Proven track record of driving change through persuasive stakeholder management
  • Experience implementing or improving proposal & bid management tools and systems, including AI-based. Preferred: Experience with implementing AI as a strong component of the bid management process.
  • Professional verbal and written fluency in English and French. Additional European languages are a plus.
