Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Battery Engineer to aid in the product development efforts of FormEnergy’s long duration energy storage system. The Senior Battery Engineer will be responsible for component integration, conceptual design, and active-area scale-up of Form Energy’s core energy-storing cell. Additionally, the Senior Battery Engineer will be responsible for specifying and coordinating experiments to validate electrochemical performance through scale-up and system integration. The Senior Battery Engineer will work closely with the SystemsEngineering team to inform critical interface requirements and balance-of-plant equipment. Asan electrochemical device expert on the Cell Engineering team, the Senior BatteryEngineer will be a responsible individual for informing cell design changes from the interpretation of electrochemical performance data. The role is anticipated to be hands-on with a significant amount of time spent working in the lab. The ideal candidate will have deep practical experience with integrated electrochemical devices while exhibiting a scrappy, interdisciplinary problem-solving approach.

Form Energy is committed to equitable compensation and we offer a generous benefits package to make sure you have the support you need. We cover 100% of employee premiums and 80% of dependent premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance for full time employees.
