What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint is looking for an Identity and Access Management engineer interested in applying creativity and a broad skill set toward building and maintaining the next generation IAM platform.

This is a high impact collaboration role working closely with Engineering, I.T., Business, Security, Compliance and Audit teams to design, build, deploy and operationalize tools to enhance security and compliance.

Ideal candidate will possess deep IAM knowledge and will be excited to work on different challenging initiatives.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Experience managing IAM environments with focus on developing and implementing secure solutions within these environments
• Experience developing workflows, forms, rules, roles, policies, reports, and certifications to support various lifecycle events (joiner, leaver, mover, rehire, and inactive)
• Experience developing custom connectors and integrations to support identity life cycle management, access provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Experience with API services to handle access policies, access requests and integrate with external applications.
• Build tools and processes to facilitate greater automation and operability of services related to security and IT.
• Contribute to secure integration of different cloud / infrastructure environments
• Experience running User Access Review (UAR) campaigns as part of IT SOX and other compliance activities
• Deep knowledge of identity governance, access management and privilege access management tools and processes
• Hands-on experience implementing identity governance, access management, SSO, MFA and other solutions
• Serve as a liaison to the other Information Security and IT functional groups, influencing outcomes as appropriate
• Build and support an extensible granular permission model based on user role (RBAC), automate the access provisioning process

Requirements

• At least five (5) years of hands-on experience in developing IAM workflows and provisioning/deprovisioning connectors.

• Hands-on experience implementing Okta and other IGA tools like SailPoint, Saviynt
• Strong development experience software development using Python, Java with strong understanding of CI/CD
• Expertise with IGA concepts, including entitlements, role-based access control, access management lifecycle, joiner/mover/leaver provisioning, zero trust and access certifications.
• Experience in developing SCIM, REST-API, SOAP/XML services
• Technical proficiency in identity protocols (SAML, OIDC, LDAP, Kerberos, FIDO2, WebAuthN)
• Experience with OAuth, SAML federation, Single Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Privileged Access Management
• Able to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical security issues
• Able to influence team and the developers to build systems that are secure
• Drives Root Cause Analysis (RCA) along with the engineering community, contribute to runbooks and writes in-dept documentation
