We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Lead to join our Corporate Accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of general ledger accounting, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities, with a focus on time and labor posting, pre-paid and accruals.Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, and recommend improvements tailored to the Fluence organization.Coordinate and assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.Collaborate with the Corporate and Regional Accounting teams to streamline accounting processes, implement new systems and technologies, and ensure that financial practices align with industry best practices.· Conduct ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management.
Support the Corporate Accounting team in continuous process improvement initiatives.Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field and MBA.· Chartered Accountant or Semi qualified Chartered Accountant.· 6-8 years of experience in general accounting areas· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.· Extensive experience with ERP systems (eg, NetSuite, SAP) · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
