Our Accounting/Finance team is seeking a Senior Accountant. This role will report into the Senior Accounting Manager of our Accounting & Finance Team. The role will work on day-to-day GL accounting of the US book. The role will also be responsible for preparation balance sheet accounts reconciliation and income statement flux analysis, managing payment status for state and local taxes, and working on complex accounting projects.

Tasks, Duties and General Responsibilities

Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing financial transactions and records. Maintains and balances accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

Maintains the general ledger by reviewing trial balance and preparing reconciling entries. Assist with the identification and improvement of controls and processes.

Summarizes financial status by collecting information, assisting in the preparation of the balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.

Assists with external audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts, preparing information for auditors. Documenting and monitoring internal controls in support of auditing team.

Provide support in complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with management.
