About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Accountant who is passionate about accounting and owning various month-end close tasks in a fast-paced demanding environment. Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing activity in general ledger accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, completing month-end close tasks, variance analysis, and assisting with building scalable and rapidly evolving accounting processes.
What You’ll Do
Own various month-end close tasks and maintain audit-ready documentation
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, variance, and flux analysis
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications, and create supporting schedules
Support ad hoc financial information requests and other tasks as assigned
What We Value
Experience with GAAP, financial statements, and SaaS accounting best practices
Experience in a high-growth startup, preferably at a software company
Ability to manage ambiguity, multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, analytical, proactive and self-motivated
Able to identify issues and drive timely and accurate resolution
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, proficiency with Excel
BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent, CPA is a plus
