As the Lucid Motors Security Leader, you will be responsible for managing all Physical Security related matters. Discovering physical security gaps, implementing improvement plans, identifying opportunities for security to improve business efficiency, leading employee training, and fostering strong relationships with law enforcement partners are some of the core functions of this position. This position will contribute and support the Physical Security team as we grow to take on the challenges of tomorrow and deliver a best-in-class security program.

You Will:

  • Audit current and future facilities to identify security gaps in physical barriers, procedures, policies, systems, and environmental threats
  • Manage internal and external investigations including accidents, thefts, disturbances, discrepancies, and instances of criminal activity against the organization
  • Embody the core principles of the global physical security team and serve as a liaison between internal and external partners
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards with a proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Create detailed threat assessment reports and submits to Security Leadership 
  • Partner with local and federal law enforcement in furthering investigations on matters of criminal activity taking place on Lucid premises
  • Support development and delivery of security awareness activities.
  • Drive strategies to ensure compliance with all regulations at retail facilities, including security codes, and other applicable standards.
  • Partner with Physical Security Leadership to implement measures that ensure Lucid employees, members, studios/service centers, and assets are safe and secure.
  • You Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of management and physical security experience with significant law enforcement, intelligence, or a private security organization.
  • Experience managing security in a large, regional or global organization is essential.
  • Strategic thinking with a firm understanding of the balance between business, security, and safety risks.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to think strategically and possess a broader view.
  • Remains flexible and responsive to changing conditions.
  • Well-versed in each of the major areas of physical security, including travel security, physical security, event security, technical security, and investigations with a focus on operational continuity.
  • Ability to remain calm in a crisis and to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of the Automotive business is preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
