You will support the Asia Pacific Sales team in winning new business through the creation of professional quality, differentiated proposals and managing the proposal development process from bid preparation, submission, and handover to Projects teams for Delivery.
Establish and maintain internal relationships with all key areas of the business, and customer stakeholder management.
Act as the central point of contact throughout the proposal development stage and manage dissemination of information and stakeholder updates as required.
Manage contact for proposal input with external partner organizations where required (for example) joint venture / partner arrangements and be able to maintain in confidence information where these may be competitors of Fluence.

Engage with the Regional Sales team and where required, lead proposal development including, storyboard content, define strategic position, key messages and themes Develop plan and manage stakeholder involvement and stage gate approvals for bids, to ensure timely submission (technical, commercial, legal) and allow suitable time for review and approval process to be completedPrepare proposals based on stakeholder inputs, bid requirements, standard information and research as required, in accordance with Fluence’s document standards and customer needsEnsure every submission is compliant with customer submission requirements using Fluence’s value proposition for the bid throughout the process – maximizing specific over standard contentManage priorities to submit proposals on time, and in accordance with Fluence approvals RACIRequirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or alternatively significant (five years plus) experience in similar role with demonstrated successExperience in complex tender management and value-proposition building, commercial conditions, experience in Salesforce would be advantageousTender and Bid experience (project or opportunity based) – preferably in a matrixed organization in Power, Energy storage and / or RenewablesMust have strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to negotiate with key stakeholders, ability to develop relationships across all facets of the business and build advocacy for APAC opportunitiesDemonstrated sales and client focused acumensAbility to write – convey complex messages succinctly and with clarityAbility to professionally communicate at all levels including C levelAbility to work to tight deadlines and handle pressure, to prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced, challenging and highly interactive deadline-driven environmentMedium travel is possible
