About the company:

Einride is an industry-disrupting freight technology company providing end-to-end solutions for electric and autonomous shipping.

By deploying technologies that are integrated using its data-driven operating system, Saga, it enables customers to decarbonize their operations by making an immediate shift towards digitalized, electric road freight.

In 2019, Einride became the world’s first company to operate an autonomous, electric freight vehicle on a public road. Its vision is to make Earth a better place through intelligent movement.

Want to be part of transforming road freight – for good? Einride is showing the world a new way to move, based on the latest digital, electric and autonomous technologies. Through freight capacity as a service, we enable businesses around the world to accelerate towards their sustainability goals.

Founded in Sweden in 2016, Einride became the first company in the world to deploy a cab-less autonomous electric heavy-duty vehicle on a public road. In 2022, we were the first to successfully operate an autonomous truck on a US public road. Today our award-winning technology has been launched across 8 countries (and counting). Our clients are some of the world’s biggest shippers, including Fortune 500 companies.

As Safety Analyst, you will be part of the Safety and Security team for Einride Autonomous Technologies.  This team is responsible for safety across all aspects of Einride’s autonomous vehicle development and launch, and this role will be key in successfully deploying our autonomous vehicles in new operations and markets.

This is a full-time position based in Stockholm or Gothenburg. Periodic travel between these locations and to potential customer sites may be required. We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible since selection and interviews are held continually.

At Einride, we are innovators, building solutions the world has never seen – but urgently needs. That’s why we take action, and it’s why we are always eager to be challenged. We know that our best innovations come from having a diverse mix of people, including those of different experiences, career paths, and walks of life. By coming together and sharing our perspectives openly – by disagreeing, discussing, and committing – we deliver greater impact.

Please note that as part of our standard recruitment process, we conduct a background control on the final candidate for this role. This may include verification of education, employment history, any relevant professional certifications or other information that may be of our interest.

You will:

  • Conduct, evaluate and assess new sites to identify hazards and safety requirements
  • Develop a deployment safety plan by preparing safety analysis activities and documentation, such as HAZOP, and ODD documentation
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend suitable mitigation measures to be implemented in operations
  • Provide qualified safety insights and assessments to Einride’s commercial and solution development teams when considering new customers and operations
  • Extract, identify and communicate market and customer-specific safety requirements and communicate them to relevant stakeholders across the organization
  • Support development and completion of the safety case through documentation and evidence, proving we can meet requirements in operation
  • Identify, monitor, and report Safety Performance Indicators from AET operations to wider organization to create transparency and drive improvements
  • Work across teams to ensure safety activities are delivered on time to enable launch and deployment
  • You bring:

  • Experience of working in a safety-critical or highly regulated industry: Several years of experience in a relevant industry such as automotive, aviation, defence, rail, energy or infrastructure
  • Organization: Outstanding project management and communication skills, with a proven track record of executing on tasks and project deliverables
