  • Your responsibilities

  • Prepare buffers, cultivation media and stock solutions as per standard operating procedures
  • Develop HPLC protocols and efficient derivatization to perform at line measurements of samples
  • Grow and maintain stem cells according to aseptic techniques
  • Perform spent media analysis (HPLC, cell culture media analytes) and suggest component optimizations
  • Perform stability tests and QC on different media components
  • Contribute to purification and analysis of natural extracts for their use in cell culture media
  • Play a major part in cultivating meat by making sure our lab, experiments & protocols run smoothly
  • Maintain excellent experimental records according to GLP & generation of analytical reports
  • Engage in scientific and technical discussions to troubleshoot and/or improve current SOPs
  • Manage & maintain samples, lab inventory & equipment

  • Additional Requirements

  • Apprenticeship, Bachelor, Master or equivalent degree in Cell Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry
  • At least 2 years of experience in handling multiple mammalian cells including primary stem cells
  • Prior experience with high throughput cell-based screening is essential
  • Prior experience in method development with HPLC (including hardware knowledge) and other spent media analysis tools is a plus
  • Comprehensive knowledge of handling different chemicals/biochemicals
  • Work independently and convey technical information clearly and thoroughly
  • Experience in working in a multidisciplinary team environment
