As a Data Research Analyst Intern, you will primarily be responsible for the identification, research, and documentation of data sources and social media platforms which are relevant to a variety of global topics. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of open source methodologies to provide data access statements and data validation tests for a cross-functional team with the goal of rapidly onboarding new data sets to the Zignal Platform.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintains abreast of OSINT techniques and procedures to utilize open-source resources to gather data from a variety of sources.Researches and documents social media platforms and applications usage, coverage and market saturations in global marketsCollaborates with product management and customer success teams to identify customer data requirements.Conducts exploratory data analysis on social media data to determine data relationships and dependencies.Authors data access requirements based on possible data availability assessments.Authors engineering collection requirements and conducts quality assurance on gathered data.Conduct quality control and error identification for a number of data acquisition projects
Required Skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbalRapid prototyping skills with a proactive, self-driven mindset Excellent problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Python or other programming languages.Familiarity with web scraping technologies, methodologies and libraries.
Preferred Skills:
