We’re looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to drive the efficiency and accuracy of our reporting. You will be a key member of the FinOps team, connecting the dots between our data sources and providing internal analysis to the broader Finance team as well as external reporting to our funders.

We need someone ambitious that has a great eye for detail, a proven ability to deliver, and the desire to become the owner of this rapidly evolving area in our business. We’re a small but growing team and value those with intellectual integrity and the confidence to operate in ambiguous situations. Ultimately, you will own the creation, management and query handling in relation to reporting for the OEV Finance team.

What you'll do...

Work alongside the FinOps team to understand our processes and how to quantify key metrics

Collaborate with Finance Managers to dissect and design reporting requirement for different work streams

Generate weekly drawdown requests for funders, thereby determining the pace at which we can get more EVs on the road and decarbonise transport

Compile daily and weekly reports to accommodate our drawdown requests and provide insights into cash movements and KPIs

Deliver detailed monthly servicing reports which combine all of the above and play a huge part in our relationship with stakeholders and continued success as a company

Collaborating with the Tech/Data team to build out our Finance database

Help grow a culture of data-driven thinking and analysis at OEV!

What you'll need...

A few years experience in Finance, Consultancy, or fast-growth Tech

A demonstrated ability to own and deliver on reporting projects

Advanced Excel/Sheets skills and a solid command of SQL

Experience using GitHub is preferred

Excellent attention to detail is extremely important

Confident written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage and prioritise across different work streams

A positive ‘can do’ attitude, with a bias for action and the desire to learn every day
