Position: Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Intern, Location:  Remote (with possibility of some time in the Ames, Iowa office).

We are looking for an ambitious undergraduate or graduate student interested in growing their understanding of recruiting and talent acquisition in a dynamic, up-and-coming organization.  In this role, you will be able to make a significant impact on the recruitment process by updating recruitment information in our ATS, developing resources, and working on projects.  This internship is a part-time (15-20 hours/week) opportunity.  The position is expected to last through early to mid-August 2022. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, hiring managers, interview teams, and acquisition and HR partners
  • Create and update interview kits within the Greenhouse talent acquisition system to assist recruiters, hiring managers, and interview teams with the hiring process
  • Research, develop, and organize a bank of interview questions to be used in technical and cultural interviews
  • Work on other projects as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • Candidate must have strong interest in the human resources field and may be in a candidate in a higher education program at the Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s level
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees and candidates
  • Some experience with customer or employee communications preferred
  • Some experience with talent acquisition or other electronic tracking systems preferred

Must be authorized to work in the United States
