    • Your responsibilities

  • Close engagement with our CSO on shaping near- and long-term R&D strategy to achieve company goals
  • Identify the best experimental design set-ups and project plans together with our CSO
  • Drive and oversee R&D operations including resource management and budget allocation
  • Establish R&D progress tracking framework via different KPIs and present those to different stakeholders including management
  • Provide scientific leadership and expertise to scientific personnel, train and supervise procedures if necessary
  • Lead the lab management team to develop standard documentation and training processes and ensure compliance with best practices
  • Search and apply for grant applications and manage project co-ordination and timely reporting
  • Manage scientific partnerships with external parties to accelerate R&D
  • Suggest, develop, and implement scientific training tools to enhance employee performance and skill development
  • Participate at relevant conferences & meetings

  • Fluency in English both oral and written

    • Specific Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Bioprocess Engineering/Tissue Engineering/Biological or Chemical Sciences and min. 5+ years experience in a Science related leadership role
  • Excellent knowledge of stem cell growth and differentiation, culture media elements, and bioprocess
  • Hands-on experience with project management, different project management principles, and tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams
  • Successful grant submissions is a plus
  • Highly motivated to go the extra mile to build something big and meaningful
