Close engagement with our CSO on shaping near- and long-term R&D strategy to achieve company goalsIdentify the best experimental design set-ups and project plans together with our CSODrive and oversee R&D operations including resource management and budget allocationEstablish R&D progress tracking framework via different KPIs and present those to different stakeholders including managementProvide scientific leadership and expertise to scientific personnel, train and supervise procedures if necessaryLead the lab management team to develop standard documentation and training processes and ensure compliance with best practicesSearch and apply for grant applications and manage project co-ordination and timely reportingManage scientific partnerships with external parties to accelerate R&DSuggest, develop, and implement scientific training tools to enhance employee performance and skill developmentParticipate at relevant conferences & meetingsWhat we are looking for

Ph.D. in Bioprocess Engineering/Tissue Engineering/Biological or Chemical Sciences and min. 5+ years experience in a Science related leadership roleExcellent knowledge of stem cell growth and differentiation, culture media elements, and bioprocessHands-on experience with project management, different project management principles, and toolsExcellent communication skills, both written and oralExperience in managing cross-functional teamsSuccessful grant submissions is a plusHighly motivated to go the extra mile to build something big and meaningful
