Quality Technician

You will be responsible for inspecting, analyzing, and validating the quality of painted surfaces and processes. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and supplier teams to identify defects, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help ensure every Lucid vehicle leaves the paint shop with a flawless finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Closely collaborate with design and manufacturing team to clearly define quality acceptance standards and specifications based on the voice of the customer
  • Validate and characterize new processes, equipment and fixtures for production implementation focused on defect and damage-free
  • Create detailed manufacturing instructions to document quality critical characteristics
  • Support on designing production and inspection workstations for quality
  • Constant work with Quality Control Manager to work on reducing and eliminating defects
  • Assist in developing and maintaining our quality strategy through a continuous improvement planning to factory leadership

Qualifications

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Valid U.S. driver’s license.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle surface defects.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Proficient in English (written and verbal).

· Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused.

· Flexibility to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

· Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive physical tasks.
