We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. You will join our incoming inspection area to screen all incoming piece parts and materials. You will help ensure that all products meet our established requirements for reliability and workmanship, as well as other quality control program standards.

You will be work onsite in Natick, MA and report to the Manager, Manufacturing Process Engineering.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Dimensional inspection of incoming piece parts
  • Record and communicate inspection findings
  • Document non-conforming conditions and segregate defective products
  • Contribute to the high performing incoming inspection area
  • Facilitate part movement and area organization 

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings 
  • Perform dimensional inspection of incoming materials using a variety of inspection techniques
  • Proven knowledge of portable CMM, height gauges, dial calipers, precision pin sets, protractors (dial and digital), micrometers, scale rulers, angle gauges, and other assorted precision measuring tools. 
  • High school diploma
  • 3-5 years of experience within quality control 
  • Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to perform computer transactions accurately using Microsoft Office software programs
  • Must be able to stand, sit, twist, reach and perform repetitive motions
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to read and understand part drawings

$19.25$24.75 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
