Role Description
We are seeking a project manager to drive the success of early projects in new applications. You will work closely with the internal engineering and project management teams to provide timely and effective support to customers. This is a critical role to ensure the successful execution of pilot projects demonstrating Form’s multi-day storage product that will accelerate decarbonization. The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating frequently with internal and external stakeholders and shall be capable of working both collaboratively and independently.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead key pilot project deployment execution with internal project management and engineering teams as well as external EPC and customer teams 
  • Track project milestones and communicate project design and performance status to customers and other project partners
  • Be accountable for the pilot project budget, schedule, and critical milestones
  • Be the main customer contact from Form Energy, responsible for outward communication and ongoing customer support, including contractual, technical and strategic matters
  • Act as liaison between customers and the engineering team in solving problems that require specialized project management expertise 
  • Proactively manage and document changes in project scopeIdentify potential risks, propose mitigation strategies, and execute mitigation actions
  • Manage supplier relationships from procurement through delivery and payment. Establish reporting processes for budget visibility.
  • What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of related experience in project management or engineering/product  development
  • Direct experience with customers and suppliers
  • Resourceful, highly organized, and collaborative team player capable of working closely with multiple cross-functional teams, including business development, systems engineering, and product management
  • Comfortable in a fast paced startup environment and can drive towards results with imperfect information High attention to detail and excellent organizational, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) in engineering or a physical science
