BETA Technologies is seeking a driven aerospace engineer as a Project Engineer for the Structures Stress Testing Team. As an integral member of BETA's growing team, you will be highly motivated to work with dynamic, cross-functional groups to ensure the success of the aircraft through certification.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Working in a brand-new office in Montréal on the side of the YUL airport. Partially Remote working is also available.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
Accountable for continuously updating and tracking the Structures testing schedule and team tasks while working with the Program office to track the Structures program requirements, schedules, and budgets.Responsible to ensure alignment with the different other interfacing groups, suppliers and work closely with the testing housesAlign the Structures testing schedule and milestones to support the aircraft production scheduleManage and coordinate Coordination Memos and resourcesTechnical coordination with suppliers to ensure testing efforts support the aircraft production scheduleParticipate in and provide technical support for supplier selection including authoring requests for proposal, support to our Supply Chain team, and contracts
Minimum Qualifications we are seeking
Accredited Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline, PMP certification is considered an asset5+ years experience working in the aircraft or rotorcraft industry with a focus on development, design, and certification. Minimum of 3 years as a project/program manager.Familiar with Program/Project Management processesRelevant experience in other regulated industries will be valuedAbility to lead large and complex projectsExcellent organizational, time management skills, and commitment to objectives and responsibilities.You have the ability to manage initiatives of a technical, financial, marketing, and general business natureAbility to work autonomouslyGreat communication skills (oral and written) in both English and FrenchAbove and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you
Working knowledge of Project Management tools (MSProject, Jira, others)Google G-suite including Drive, Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Charts; SlackFamiliarity with Solid Modeling tools (Onshape and CATIA experience preferred)
