We are seeking a Project Accountant III to provide financial and business analysis over the building of our energy storage solutions. You will work on operations over the projects’ life cycle from set up through project’s close out. Additionally, you will evaluate project performance and provide analysis to project managers, finance department colleagues, and additional key stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have project accounting experience in the (renewable) energy and/or construction sectors as well as experience with NetSuite’s project module.

 

·        Enable and manage the building of energy storage solutions through NetSuite’s Projects.

·        Validate budgets for the design and building of our energy storage solutions.

·        Provide insightful reports with the financial and building status of each project.

·        Confirm estimates to complete the projects and their impact in revenue recognition.

·        Responsible for the proper billing as per projects schedule and cash flow forecasting.

·        Manage the inclusion of services & software components within each energy solution project.

·        Be a trusted advisor to the delivery team providing strategic guidance over projects’ development.

·        Spearhead strategic initiatives enabling the increase in project’s profits (focus on cost reduction).

·        Properly manage CAPEX and OPEX requirements for each project.

·        Continually seek opportunities to enhance internal processes and controls over our projects.

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or equivalent required; CPA or MBA a plus.

·        5+ years in accounting or finance roles with progressive responsibility.

·        Significant work experience in project accounting, preferably in our renewable energy industry.

·        Excel proficiency, advanced analytical and technical accounting skills, and ability to work independently to solve problems and manage multiple projects.

·        Great teaming ability with an environmentally conscious attitude.

·        Experience in Oracle NetSuite modules is a plus.

·       Comfort in fast-paced, rapid growth environments.

·       Experience in public companies is a plus.
