Who You Are

As a Program Manager, you will be critical to Sila’s success in scaling our advanced manufacturing technologies to meet the skyrocketing demand for next-generation batteries to support consumer devices and electric vehicles. This includes managing the execution of government grants enabling Sila to develop advanced manufacturing technologies that drastically increase throughput and reduce costs. You work cross-functionally with Sila’s teams in Capital Projects, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, Quality, Community Outreach and Finance. You will ensure tight coordination and alignment while driving plans to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plan and manage program details to meet tight deadlines and satisfy requirements for government grant reporting
  • Communicate and coordinate closely with development teams, internal partners, and external agencies
  • Serve as main point of contact between Sila and various government agencies
  • Drive progress, prioritize key critical activities, and proactively manage risks
  • Streamline and optimize reporting mechanisms and processes
  • Prepare budget and write required reports
  • Monitor expenditures and track results
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships and promote a supportive program team environment

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in a technical field
  • 2+ years of program management experience
  • Experience in managing government grants or equivalent
  • Adept at collaborating with both technical and business groups
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal)

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location

The starting base pay for this role is between $113,000 and $143,000 at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila’s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses.  The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
